We understand that everyone needs help sometimes.
​No one should ever go hungry. If you live in the Permian Basin, come see us!
PBMC provides emergency food boxes, rent assistance, utility bill assistance, clothing and basic household necessities to qualifying clients in need.

PBMC seeks to nurture and direct the clients toward an improved lifestyle by teaching home budgeting principles which includes guidance in establishing a savings account, applying for SNAP Benefits, and seeking free legal assistance with child support issues. 

​Most importantly, PBMC provides an opportunity to hear about the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

PBMC cares for the whole person by exemplifying Christian compassion and benevolence while conforming to the highest standards of integrity.

Thanks to the dedicated staff and volunteers of PBMC, the pantry is kept fully stocked with the freshest and most nutritious food possible.

Items for the pantry are purchased from the West Texas Food Bank, Affiliated Foods and generous donations from local grocers.

PBMC also collects food items from local businesses and churches who partner with PBMC to host food drives. If you would like to host a food drive for PBMC, please contact PBMC. 

Food Assistance

​PBMC is currently providing emergency food box distribution by curbside delivery.

A valid and current Drivers License or Identification ID
(hardcopy) and proof of address consisting of a current utility bill or lease contract with your physical name and physical address listed (paper copy) and a completed application to be filled out when you arrive at our facility to determine qualification to receive emergency food box assistance. 

FOOD RESCUE
The Permian Basin Mission Center accepts and picks up perfectly good (not expired) food from supermarkets and generous donors which would otherwise be thrown away.
This food helps the thousands in our Permian Basin Community that are food insecure. Over 50% of food is wasted each year in our city and country, food that ends up in garbage cans and dumpsters. Despite that statistic, food waste, like food insecurity, has a solution. PBMC food rescue minimizes food waste AND food insecurity by distributing the food to our hungry Permian Basin Community. The PBMC also recieves large donations, smaller donations from the public whether it be a generous donor or a bussiness stopping in and dropping of canned goods to feed the less fortunate. By accepting food donations, PBMC can help minimize food waste and the impact to our enviroment.

Homelessness

Homelessness exists right here in the Permian Basin. PBMC provides basic food boxes and hygiene items to those who are in immediate need, including our homeless community.
